About Izzy

Izzy found her love of taking photos in her high school darkroom shooting 35mm and medium format film. Around the same time, she decided that skiing wasn’t just cold-weather torture inflicted on her by her parents and watched her first ski film. She fell head-over-heels in love with action sports media.

Her own journey into the media realm began at Teton Gravity Research just before graduating college. Using TGR as her school (although she also graduated in the meantime) and Jackson Hole as her playground, Izzy found that this was the world she wanted to live in.

Now a full-time freelance photographer and writer in the outdoor industry, Izzy strives to bring people the same feeling she got watching her first ski film. She creates imagery that is synonymous with her clients identity and authentic to their values.

She has worked with clients such as Red Bull Media House, FREESKIER, Sweet Protection, Elevenate, and Jackson Hole Snowboarder Magazine to create compelling and engaging stories through images and words.

Izzy can be found skiing Teton Pass, with and without her camera pack, kayaking class IV whitewater, gravel or mountain biking in the Tetons, watercolor painting, or trying to make a meal from whatever’s left in her fridge.
